Artist's Description
A funnel cloud develops from a supercell thunderstorm northwest of Canadian, Texas on May 27, 2015. Although there was no confirmation that this funnel cloud was a tornado (i.e. in contact with the ground), the same supercell would subsequently produce 4 tornadoes, the strongest of which was rated as a high-end EF2 by the National Weather Service in Amarillo, TX.
