Artist's Description
A rainbow associated with the precipitation shaft of heavy rain & hail of a supercell thunderstorm over a farmstead near Booker, TX (a town in the Texas Panhandle near the Texas/Oklahoma state line). This same supercell thunderstorm produced damaging wind gusts and hail up to 1.75" in diameter (golf ball size). The "Overside Load" sign was located on the roof of a commercial vehicle parked along the side of the road during the storm. This photograph was taken in June 2013.
