The Bennington-Chapman tornado as seen from near Cambria, Kansas on May 25, 2016. The tornado, which was increasingly wrapped in rain at this point in time (evidenced by the curtains of precipitation), had a lifespan of over 90 minutes as it tracked east then southeast. The National Weather Service Forecast Office in Topeka, Kansas later rated this tornado as an EF4 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.
