Description
The final stages of an EF2 tornado and a double rainbow near the Colorado/Oklahoma state line on May 31, 2010. Most famously known as the "Campo Tornado" for the nearby town of Campo, Colorado, the slow moving tornado lasted for over 20 minutes. At this stage, the tornado emerged from the rain & hail shaft which, combined with the sun, produced a rainbow (actually, two rainbows) & this spectacular scene. For the purposes of full disclosure, I did edit out 2 thin powerlines from the image, however, the remainder of the image is as is was on that day.
